She comes to EIU from Eastern Florida State College where she was a NJCAA National's Semifinalist in 2023 Division I tournament. Renovales Salazar is from Los Mochis, Mexico and attended IES Tias in the Canary Islands (Spain) for high school. She also helped lead her team to a state runner-up title in 2022 and a Division 2-A Regional Championship. As a high school player she was the Commercial Appeal Girl's Tennis Player of the Year finishing as the individual state runner-up. She earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors for her work in the classroom.

She was named the Most Outstanding Freshman and led the team with five wins playing at the number two and three spots in the order.

She comes to EIU as a transfer after playing at Prairie View A&M last season. Wooten is from Lakeland, Tenn., and attended St. Set to join the Panthers are Aleyla Wooten, Luisa Renovales Salazar and Michelle Kostadinova.
